WORLD MODE HOLDINGS ASIA PACIFIC / MALAYSIA: Successful completion of the first Ains & Torpe overseas store project!
Our group (WORLD MODE HOLDINGS Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as WMH) has been strengthening its support system for Japanese fashion and beauty companies in the Asia-Pacific region to expand their business overseas.
WMH has recently provided support to Ains & Trupe (headquartered in AMC Retail Malaysia, hereinafter referred to as “Ains & Trupe”), the world’s ninth largest beauty retailer in terms of sales, for its entry into the Malaysian market.
This is the first overseas expansion for Ains & Trupe, which opened its first store at the Pavilion Bukit Jalil, a huge mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in May 2022. The store has been off to a good start, attracting attention for its main lineup of Japanese beauty products and the fact that it also houses the first TSUTAYA store.
Kuala Lumpur is a growing retail market with nearly 10 huge malls, two to three times the size of Aeon Mall Lake Town, the largest mall in Japan, and brands from all over the world are opening stores there. AINS & TRUPPE plans to open many stores in Malaysia and expand its business in other countries.
WMH currently has local subsidiaries in Singapore and Vietnam, and can provide support in neighboring countries as well. We are planning to establish more local subsidiaries in the future, and will work in earnest to expand our business together with our clients as a long-term partner.
