Press release: Selected as a supporting partner for the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency’s “JAPAN Brand Development Support Project”
WORLD MODE HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as WMH; Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shinsuke Kafuku) has been selected as a supporting partner company for the 2022 “JAPAN Brand Development Support Program” implemented by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency. We will support various activities necessary for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to develop overseas sales channels by utilizing our knowledge and expertise in supporting overseas expansion of our client companies, especially in the fashion and beauty industries.
About the JAPAN Brand Development Support Program
The JAPAN Brand Development Support Program is a program implemented by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency with the aim of contributing to the revitalization of regional economies and the promotion of regional SMEs by subsidizing a portion of the expenses incurred by SMEs when they expand their business overseas. Eligible SMEs can receive subsidies of up to 5 million yen per company by teaming up with a support partner and applying for the subsidy.

WMH’s Overseas Support Achievements
■Development of strategy and business plan for overseas expansion:
Formulation of strategy and business plan for Japanese cosmetics select store’s expansion into Malaysia. In addition to marketing measures utilizing social media and influencers, sales promotions, and test marketing to identify local potential through market research, we also provided support for securing local store locations, negotiations, and contracts.
■Securing local human resources and training in customer service and sales skills:
We provide comprehensive support for securing and maintaining human resources for global brands (fashion, cosmetics) in Singapore, measures to continuously improve performance, and total brand store management on behalf of the client. We implemented training programs to strengthen sales and improve service through a consistent education system with a global perspective. We also created product training manuals to strengthen the brand’s ability to communicate.
Marketing measures for overseas store openings and store franchise operations on behalf of the client:
When a Japanese fashion brand enters the Taiwan market, we provide support from the planning stage through research, securing store locations, negotiations, and contracts. We also manage logistics under franchise agreements, and implement marketing measures and promotions in preparation for store openings. Continuous human resource training and store management enabled us to provide high quality services that lead to successful results.
